    MRS 2481 is a potent, reversible Aβ42 neurotoxicity inhibitor with ID50 of 500 nM, potently blocks the Aβ calcium channel and protects neurons from Aβ toxicity; also is a potent inhibitor of TNFα-induced phosphorylation and proteosomal destruction of IκBα, inhibits both NFκB and AP-1 signaling on the IL-8 promoter (IC50=1.8 uM); blocks TNFα-activated phosphorylation of JNK, the c-JUN kinase.
